Here I am thinking about my future making signs.
My 1972 Chevy Cheyenne. Yes, she's dressed in a wreath and lights. That's how I drove her around KC in December.
This is the farm where I grew up. These are my grandparents and my aunt and uncle.

We're back and snarkier than ever

Based out of Kansas City, Annie's Barn is just a woman (and sometimes friends) working out of her garage and basement to bring you the funniest shit ever.

What this world needs more is laughs. Unfortunately, lately, it feels like what this world is getting more of is NOT LAUGHS.

I live in a small suburb called Overland Park. I started this business on a foundation of trust. Hard work. Loyalty. That has served me well as most of business is repeat.

My name is LeAnne Stowe... my nickname is Annie. I grew up on a farm in Kansas. I worked a farm in Kansas driving tractors and old trucks around the fields and country roads. We had cows, pigs, chickens, dogs, cats, rabbits, and once, a goat...but not for long. You learn a lot about the value of life, nature, animals, and hard work on a farm. I went to J-school at Kansas State University and graduated. I went to work at weekly newspapers in Texas for two years before I came back to KC to work for a local daily paper. When browsers were developed, I was an early adopter an parlayed that into a career in online marketing working for Fortune 500 companies where I traveled and worked with the best ad agencies in the nation. After a great career I found that life with two kids and a working spouse was too exhausting. I stayed home with the kids for 10 years before I started collecting vintage for sale and making signs.

My first year in business allowed me to earn enough to purchase Clementine... my 1972 Chevy Cheyenne pickup. With a leather-tooled look vinyl bench seat, original carpet and dash, I laughed most of the ride home after I bought her. I love the truck. She loves me back.

My kids are off to college and beyond now. Lots of you have been on this journey with me through the years. I had to shut down EtSY last year.. couldn't keep up with my website. But this year we're going to try to ship our ornaments nationwide.
